Who designs Snell Golf Balls?
Dean Snell is considered to be one of the foremost golf ball authorities.
With more than 28 years in golf ball development, 40 U.S. granted patents and a successful background in plastics engineering, after leaving TaylorMade (where he was VP of R&D) Dean founded Snell Golf, a golf ball company committed to developing premium golf balls at affordable, direct to consumer pricing.
Dean has been behind some of the most ground breaking golf balls - including the TP Red & Black, Penta (golf’s first five layer ball), Lethal and the TOUR Preferred line which are played today by Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Justin Rose among others. He also led the design of the Noodle, Burner, RocketBallz and Project (a), golf balls designed to perform for average players.
Snell worked closely with Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Davis Love III to bring cast urethane technology into the golf market with Titleist Professional ball as a co-inventor of the original ProV1 and Professional balls.

Why is a "Premium" Golf Ball at such a low price?
Our direct to consumer online model, and the fact that we let our balls speak for themselves - relying on word of mouth, rather than an expensive marketing and sponsorship deals, means we keep our costs low, and can produce a ball to rival the best on the market at a very competitive price.
Why haven't I been able to buy Snell golf balls for the last couple of years?
Snell golf balls haven't been available in the UK or European markets since 2019.
At first, the factory where they are made was forced to close by Covid, and when it eventually was able to reopen, supply chain problems meant that production was limited, and only available to consumers in the US.
It is only just now returning to the UK and European markets.
